About the Project
This project started in December 2025 from a very personal place. I felt a strong need to support women in feeling more comfortable and at home in their bodies after mastectomy.

I didn’t have a big plan in the beginning — I just started by opening one spot each month. Over the following five months, I created five complimentary scar cover-up tattoos. Each one was completely different, with its own story, emotions, and meaning behind it.
These sessions quickly became something much deeper than just tattooing. They’re quiet, personal moments built on trust — where we take the time to slow down, connect, and create something meaningful together.
For me, it’s not about covering or hiding scars. It’s about transformation. About softness. About helping the body feel whole again in a new way.
I work freehand, drawing directly on the skin, so each piece naturally follows the shape of the body and the scar. Nothing is pre-made — everything is created in the moment, together.
This volunteer work has been taking place in Vancouver, at LA MAISON Studio
where I’ve been able to welcome clients into a calm and supportive space.
I’m deeply grateful to every woman who has trusted me with something so personal. Each story stays with me 🤍
